Tendai Bwanya is a Strategic Advisor to Africa INSIGHTS, providing strategic guidance on capital discipline, investor relations, corporate development and long-term corporate governance.
With more than 25 years of global financial services experience, Tendai has worked across private equity, investment management, risk and governance in Africa, the United States and the United Kingdom.
His career includes senior roles at Deloitte, Lloyds Banking Group and Franklin Templeton. Most recently, he was a Partner at Deloitte in London, where he led the firm's Investment Management and Private Equity assurance practice.
Tendai began his professional career with Deloitte in Harare, Zimbabwe, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He subsequently worked in the United States before relocating to the United Kingdom in 2005. He is a member of both ICAEW and ICAZ.
His experience spans complex and highly regulated financial environments, with a strong focus on risk, governance, institutional credibility and sustainable growth.
